Living Scale Up was born in Lavaux — UNESCO-listed terraces above Lake Geneva, minutes from EPFL. Patient craft on one side, frontier science on the other. That tension is the company.

Living Scale Up was founded in July 2026 by Fabien Lopez, who runs the studio from Lavaux. Humans set direction, taste and judgment; a living organisation carries the operational load. It's the same architecture our ventures are born with — we just live in it first.
01Lavaux taught us the timescale: terraces built by hand, tended for centuries, still producing. We build companies to compound like that.

03Our ventures' intelligence is designed to run on Swiss-hosted infrastructure with open-weight models, so it answers to Swiss law rather than someone else's terms of service.
